WELCOME TO J&K PEACE FOUNDATION

The seeds of J&K Peace Foundation were sown in the year 1992 by Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee with a deep desire to establish peace in the valley. Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee appointed Mr Fayaz Ahmad Bhat as the head of the movement then, later it got registered as a society. The Jammu and Kashmir Peace Foundation started working on empowering the underprivileged section of our society since 1992.

The contribution made by J&K Peace Foundation in the social fields in Jammu & Kashmir is unparallel and it has received world wide acclaim under the chairmanship of Mr Fayaz Ahmad Bhat. JKPF invited Arab League Ambassador and top Peace-Loving personalities including Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Gen. Atta Husnain, Gen. Hudda, Shri N.N. Vohra, Shri S. K Sinha, Shri Amit Shah, Shri Venkeiya Naidu, Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Shri Akhilesh Yadav, Smt. Mamta Sharma, Shri Pallam Raju, Moulana Junaid Hashmi, Shri Santosh Gangwar, Smt. Najma Heptulla, Shri Arun Singh, Shri I. K Garg, , Shri Shanawaz Hussain, Shri Ram Madhav, Late DC Singhania, Late Mulayam Singh Yadav, Late Swami Aganivish, Late K. B Thakre, Late Sikandar Bakht, Late Vaid Vishnudutt, Late Amar Singh, Ambassador of Iran, Tajikistan, Sudan, Afghanistan and other personalities of the World who spoke on Peace in Kashmir.

Today the J&K Peace Foundation has a pan India presence through its wide network of Volunteer Chapters across the country. J&K Peace Foundation focused its interventions on issues concerning youth and children which brought about significant changes in their lives in terms of education, health, skill, career and sustainable livelihood. J&K Peace Foundation also works on Environment conservation, women empowerment, Food safety and security. Being an organization who cares for society, J&K Peace Foundation gets engaged in projects as the situation demands under natural or manmade disasters, like COVID-19 Pandemic, Flood, Drought Relief etc.
